Oye! ¿Qué tal?
I’m Will Davis, known as Tethered Wrds—a self-proclaimed steward of stories and the creator of a writing style I call liminara. Rooted in the sacred tension, of what is and what could be, my work seeks to speak life, inspire dignity, and do good. I not only inhabit the threshold—I invite others to cross it and journey with me into spaces of empathy, and transformation.
My debut poetry collection, Threads of Resilience: Weaving the Human Spirit Through Poetry, offers a firsthand account of the lived experiences of migrants and immigrants at the U.S.-Mexico border.
My second collection, Upon the Jet Stream, takes flight across Cuba, Africa, and Ukraine, exploring themes of war, hope, and the healing power of beauty.
Beyond the page, I’m an educator, immigration and human rights advocate, and a passionate believer in the power of storytelling to bridge divides and honor our shared humanity.
Get Connected

What happens when we leave safety behind and chase the wind toward war-zones, forgotten villages, and fragile places where beauty dares to bloom?
Upon the Jet Stream is not just a collection—it’s a crossing.
Through poetry, prose, and lived encounters across Cuba, South Sudan, Uganda, and Ukraine, this collection dares to ask:
How might our perspectives continue to change through proximity? What does it mean to choose hope over fear, beauty over despair, and truth over silence in the presence of others?
Take flight Upon the Jet Stream.

Threads of Resilience is an invitation to “come and see.”
Through a first-hand account, I hope to change the narrative that is told of asylum seekers and amplify the voice of sojourners at the Southern Border.
These poems capture the tenacity of the human spirit and inspire dignity, not just for the migrant, but for the reader as well. They provoke the reader to empathize with strangers, weaving a common thread of sorrow, faith, and ultimately hope.
Journey with me.
